5 Tips for Picking a good Music Teacher

1. You should be welcome to observe your child's private lessons.
2. Lessons should be set for an appropriate time and place.
3. There should be opportunities to perform, such as in a recital.
4. Singers should be taught a variety of styles.
5. Check the teacher's credentials, including their area of expertise. For example, a great jazz school may not fit a classical singer's needs.
